Why Qualiaris?

When we meet with a client, we have the responsibility of creating and bringing their ideas and concepts to reality. By doing so, we generate what we have come to call: Qualiaris, the act of sharing qualia.


(/ˈkwɑːliə/ or /ˈkweɪliə/; singular form: quale)


Qualiaris is born from the concept of qualia. Qualia is the subjective experience of everything we live and is, by definition, a non-transferable knowledge. For example, John and I look at a green apple, I cannot know if he sees the same green that I see, this is because everything that he adds to the experience of seeing green is subjective, bound by John’s whole life experiences and emotions. So, by trying to explain to John what color I’m looking at, we find ourselves with something known as an explanatory gap.
